スペイン・バレンシア生まれ。パトリシア・マーチの作品は彼女の同世代はまるで抑圧され、土砂の中に埋まられているような状況にあると云う一つの考えに焦点を当てていることから始まる。作品の特徴として、素早くも力強いストロークは時に肉体によって隠されてしまっている内面を探り、更には感情に満ちた被験者の肉体に起こった表面的な模様をも同時に且つ様々な種類の展開で描きあげている。
Patricia March’s career has been focusing on the exploration of the territories buried under the mound generated by the phenomenon of intoxication to which the subject of her generation has been subdued. Explores the transience of the unrepeatable moment that lodges the execution of a gesture full of beauty, thrust and feeling through quick and energetic strokes that occasionally end up forming a mist that conceals the lines of the underlying figure. At some other times, she chooses multiplying the subject’s body causing some sort of unfolding of the self.
