REINHARD PLANK / レナード・プランク
創業者はレナード・プランク(Reinhard Plank)。1970年、アルプス山脈付近にある南チロル地方、イタリアのボルツァーノに生まれる。ウィーン工芸大学でインダストリアルデザインを学んだ後、2003年よりウィーンにて帽子のリメイクを始める。2005年にイタリアのトスカーナに拠点を移し、ピッティ・ウオモに参加、帽子デザイナーとしてのキャリアを本格的にスタートさせた。実験と再構築を繰り返すことで、マテリアルが着用に適した形へと具現化され、彼の世界観を作り上げている。
Reinhard Plank is a South Tyrolean designer. He graduated in Industrial Design from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna.
His label was launched in 2005. The same year he took part at Pitti Uomo and emerged as an international hat designer.
Transforming materials into wearable forms, experimentation and reinvention are constant elements in the Reinhard Plank world.
The label’s aesthetic is a blend of clean lines and minimal tones that are immediately recognizable. Its designs are constantly evolving and transforming the classic forms, reverting back to the artisanal nature of apparel design yet furthering the idea of what the modern topper looks like.
